My philosophy is to create a space for you to relax and re-focus on your needs. Everything on your schedule commands energy, even the things you love to do. That energy must be replenished in order for you to be your best self.
The purpose of my practice to remind you that in the midst of all of that flows through you, you matter. Time for yourself is not a luxury; it is a necessity. It should be normal, just like your daily duties. So, let's work together in achieving and maintaining balance in the name of better health in mind, body, and spirit.
When I was a teenager, I knew I wanted to pursue therapeutic massage as a career path. Later in life, I experienced back pain and my chiropractor suggested massage therapy to correspond with the treatment. Regular sessions made a believer out of me. I also noticed a lot of people in performing arts and public service careers were sacrificing themselves in the name of entertaining and helping others. As my performing arts and teaching career continued, I realized I was one of those exhaustive-giving people too. Throughout my therapeutic massage program, I enjoyed helping people recognize their natural setting was relaxed, not tensed. After all, that is what my massage therapists did for me.
I look forward to working with you soon.
Peace & Thanks,
C. J. Wade, LMT
